Fundraising outdoor movie night in Winterton

A novel idea is coming to Winterton on December 8. An outdoor movie night will be held at the Winterton Country Club.

This event is not just for entertainment, the main purpose is to raise funds for the Singakwenza Charity Team. Cara du Plooy is part of this charity team and has been enrolled to swim the Midmar 8 Mile.
Her task is to raise R12 000 for the charity. Singakwenza is a based in Hilton. Their goal is to teach as many parents, educators and community workers about the importance of play as they can, and to show them how easy it is to provide fun activities for their children so that they can develop vital educational foundations.

The outdoor movie night is one of Cara’s fundraising initiatives. If you would like to support it, the Disney movie Moana will be screened at the Winterton Country Club with gates opening at 5pm.
The cost is R60 per person and R30 for pre-school children, tickets will be on sale at the gate. Picnic baskets will be on sale, pre-orders will be required.
