Congrats to the ML Sultan Estcourt Primary Class of 2018

The most prestigious Dux award was presented to the learner with the highest aggregate in grade seven, Nokwanda Shabalala

Parents and learners of ML Sultan Estcourt Primary enjoyed the annual Speech and Awards function held at Forderville Primary School on November 28. Mr A Bansilall was the program director for the function.

After the procession, Ms Appenah led the house in prayer. Mrs KB Osman, Deputy Principal welcomed the parents and learners to the highlight on the school calendar. The Principal, Mr DH Zuma presented the annual report of activities and highlighted the various achievements of 2018.
The grade seven learners were excited to receive special awards. The Sports Boy award was captured by Mahomed Ally whilst Sbongukuhle Mabaso received the Sports Girl Award. The Good Fellowship Award was presented to Namhla Shabalala.

The most prestigious Dux award was presented to the learner with the highest aggregate in grade seven.  Nokwanda Shabalala achieved straight distinctions as well as the highest mark in English, Isizulu, Maths, Technology, Natural Science, Life Orientation and Creative Arts. Nokwanda also received the Moola’s Scholars Choice Floating trophy.
Mellisa Robi was presented with the Social Science award and Namhla Shabalala took the EMS Award.

Ms JDS Gwala also presented learners and educators with certificates for conducting the scholar patrol duties with dedication. Ms Gwala moved the vote of thanks.
