Drakensview Primary’s senior prize-giving was held last Friday. Many children were acknowledged and rewarded for their hard work during the academic year.

For the first time the top ten achievers in each grade received trophies and a certificate. This award is surely something to work towards each year.
This year the grade seven Dux is Nyasha Chickwangani and second in grade seven is Holly Chisholm. It was interesting to observe that the subject prizes were shared among quite a few children.
Well done to everyone who received an award.

Mrs Nyathi, a member of the cleaning staff who is retiring at the end of the year, was presented with a gift as appreciation of the work she has done in her years at the school.
