MATRIC RESULTS: The wait is almost over for 2018 NSC matric results

The official national matric results announcement will be made by Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga today (January 3) and the results will be released on Friday, December 4

It’s now an anxious wait for the Class of 2018 as learners prepare to receive their National Senior Certificate (NSC) matric exam results.

The official national matric results announcement will be made by Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga today (January 3) and the results will be released on Friday, December 4.

Learners who wrote the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) received their results today.

Here is how to get your exam results:

1. School

Visit your school or the centre you wrote your exams to receive your results on the day of release.

2. Newspaper

National daily newspapers will publish the NSC results. Remember to have your examination number handy, as names will not published in the paper.

3. SMS
Register via SMS by sending your identity number followed by your exam number to 35658. After your registration has been successful you will receive a confirmation SMS. SMSs cost R1 (free SMSs don’t apply).
