MATRIC RESULTS: KZN scores a 76.2 percent matric pass rate for 2018

KwaZulu-Natal’s Class of 2018 achieved a pass rate of 76.2 percent

There is an excited energy crackling in the air at local high schools today.

This is as dozens of matric learners retrieve their results of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Secondary schools are busy distributing matric certificates to learners.

The Education Department Uthukela office has not yet officially released the names of the top candidates.

Nationally the matric pass rate for 2018 is 78.2 percent, which is an increased from 76.5 percent attained in 2017.

KwaZulu-Natal’s Class of 2018 achieved a pass rate of 76.2 percent, an improvement of 3.2 percent from 2017’s 73.6 percent pass rate.
