The Newcastle Advertiser was at the opening of nine schools in Newcastle this morning to capture the momentous occasion of children going to ‘big school’ accompanied with their parents.
Many excited faces where children donned over-sized school uniforms and bustled around eagerly with glee to celebrate the very beginning of their school careers.
