Members, some accompanied by family, took time off from the busy holiday period to socialise and enjoy a hearty meal together.

Co-founder Shailen Sunderpersad kicked off the meeting with a message focusing on what was important to each individual. Those present said that love and health were important.

“Time,” said Mr Sunderpersad. During this time of year, we’re excited about getting gifts but giving should also come naturally and it’s not only gifts. By giving, we are able to benefit more from God,” he substantiated.

Mr Sunderpersad went on to explain that at times, a person’s presence is all that is required when someone is sick.

To conclude, he thanked everyone for attending ARK Support Group meetings, giving donations and providing meals and snacks. The next meeting will be held on January 19 at the AFM Church in Brickhill Road, starting at 2pm.
