Farm attack reported outside Glencoe

There has been a farm attack outside Glencoe this evening. Farmers in the area reported that a group of armed men – said to number five – approached the couple at around 6pm.

The couple, whose names are known to the Courier, had been walking their dogs. The  group  of men who attacked them were said to have been heavily armed. It was said that they had demanded money.  The man and his wife were not physically injured, farmers reported,.  The men apparently made off with two firearms. It is thought that they are travelling in a Polo vehicle and could be possibly headed towards Wasbank.

Farmers and SAPS have launched a manhunt once an alert had been sent out on various emergency groups.
