On Friday, February 22, Uelzen Primary School held their annual Inter-house swimming gala at the Dundee High School swimming pool, with 84 students participating in 66 events.
Two records were broken, both by Craig Mc Kenzie. The record for boys U/10 50m backstroke was 47,91 sec since 2006 and Craig broke the record with a time of 46,03 sec. The second record was 40,07 sec for boys U/10 50m freestyle and had been standing since 2002, Craig broke the record by swimming a time of 39,46 sec.

Dundee Auto Engineering Trophy for best U/9 Boy Swimmer: Rizaa Khan. Joseph Coltart Trophy for the most improved male swimmer: Bonga Mdlabose. Botha Girls’ Trophy for the most improved female swimming: Gizelle Mc Taggart. The Harris Trophy for a developmental swimmer: Husna Hameed.
Collet Tadpole Trophy for u/8 and u/9 boy or girl: Nicke Ehlers. Van Staden Junior Victor Ludorum: Craig Mckenzie. Junior Victrix Ludorum: Paige Worst and Mia Ehlers. Nduli Senior Victor Ludorum: Nathan Misselhorn. Van Zyl Senior Victrix Ludorum: Nikki Caldecott.
