Children sent home after bomb scare at primary school in Ladysmith

Officials are combing the area

A bomb scare at Egerton Primary School today (May 9) saw the children and educators being evacuated to the school field and the area cordoned off.

K9, Public Safety and other emergency personnel are on scene.

Officials are currently combing the area for explosive devices.

Many parents have already picked up their children from the school and taken them home.

So far, no explosives have been found.
