2. High tech technology traces Loskop rapist in Ladysmith – A 25-year-old man thought he could escape the long arm of the law after raping a 15-year-old, however expert techniques traced the man and he was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment.

3. Mall construction kicks off this week – Remember the promised mall proposed at the corner of Subway Road and Elizabeth Avenue? The municipality announced that earthworks and cleaning would begin.

4. Comrades glory – Estcourt runners were on the Comrades Marathon route, as they will be doing this Sunday (June 9).
