VIDEO: Grateful Ithembalethu Outreach Project beneficiaries receive food parcels

A partnership between two non-profit organisations is paying off for hundreds of locals

Caring for the young and vulnerable is the mission of the caregivers who run Ithembalethu Outreach Project (IOP).

The group of caregivers regularly provide emotional and physical support to many orphaned and vulnerable children.
Their scope of care extends to feeding as well as emotional support.

IOP depends on the generosity of donors to assist them and the Gift of the Givers Foundation has been on board, regularly supplying food parcels, hygiene packs and more recently blankets.

This morning the Gift of the Givers team accompanied caregivers from IOP to Wembezi, Colita and Rensburgdrift, where a total of 200 food parcels were distributed.

IOP’s Sister Beata Msomi was extremely grateful for the food parcels and expressed gratitude to the Gift of the Givers for their reliable relief donations.
