16 injured, one dead in crash near Wembezi
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated
A fatal crash just past the Masakheni Farm in Wembezi was reported to emergency services at about 7.10am this morning (July 15).

Two taxis and one light motor vehicle were involved, leaving 13 passengers with minor injuries. Three people sustained moderate injuries, while one person was sadly declared dead at the scene.
Among the injured is a minor of just 16 years old. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
The scene is being cleared and the patients are receiving medical treatment at Estcourt Provincial Hospital.
Local police, the Traffic Department, Fire Department, ambulance services and the Midway Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) responded.
Traffic congestion has been reported to be heavy, so if you are approaching this area, add extra travel time to your trip and be cautious.
