Annual Glencoe Dropthieammen and Marieammen Firewalking Prayer
One of the most prayers on the Hindu calendar
The Glence Hindu Temple will host the annual Dropthieammen and Marieammen Firewalking Prayer.
Flag hoisting from 5.30pm, July 26. Supper provided by Pooven and Lorna Chetty and family of Johannesburg) July 27: Prayers start at 5.30pm and Agni Pooja at 10.30pm. Firewalking will start at 8am on Sunday, July 28.
Lunch provided by Maharaj Family in memory of their beloved parents , the late Mr and Mrs SL Maharaj of Greytown. Flag de-hoisting at 1pm. All fire-walkers will walk over the embers at their own risk. Officiating priest : Guru Krishnamoorty. All welcome.
