Memorial held for victims of Pomeroy crash

Words and songs of comfort and encouragement were offered to the bereaved families of the girls.

Family members, learners and residents have commemorated the life of Thembeka Myeza (16), Asanda Buthelezi (16) and Nonjabulo Dludla (18).

The girls, who passed away last week Saturday in the horror mini-bus collision on the R33 between Dundee and Pomeroy, were learners at Dundee Secondary School.

9 others were injured in the horrific smash, which saw the mini-bus taxi burst into flame. It is believed the vehicle was transporting young women from the Stratford Farm area back home after a Reed Dance pre-event.
