The Grade 7s of Dundee Junior School recently held their annual Entrepreneurs’ Day.
The learners had a lot of fun, bearing in mind they were actually ‘working’. Learners decorated their stalls and made sure to dress according to their chosen theme, which made the day colourful and interesting.
“Thank you to all the Grade 7s for making it a great success.”
Congratulations to the ‘Sweets-R-Us’ group which turned a profit of R2 034 – well done! Thank you to the EMS teachers, who ensured this was a wonderful learning experience.
Soccer: The DJS soccer teams participated in the Richards Bay Soccer Tournament. The first team played four matches, winning two and drawing two. The under-11 team played three matches and had one win, one loss and one draw. The teams played their hearts out and really enjoyed the trip. Thank you to the staff who accompanied them.
Learners sang some songs, watched a skit performed by the Soul Buddyz and finally went outside to plant eight new trees.
DJS thanks Daniel Motswane from the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, who joined DJS for the special celebration.
