Ireland and Germany combined at the Uelzen Primary School last Friday to produce an Oktoberfest to remember.

The Uelzen Brass Band started proceedings with a traditional rendition of ‘oompah’ music followed by the indomitable Irish trio, The Blarney Brothers, who entertained for the rest of the evening.

The packed crowd enjoyed fine German fare and great fellowship
