Volkies grieves loss of Grade 12 learner

We knew her as a firm believer in Christ with an angelic voice. Her kindness and contagious laugh touched us all as her close friends.

It is with sadness that Volksrust High School learned of the passing of Thando Mahlambi, a matric learner.

Her friends, Akhona Myeni and Aphiwo Masondo, wrote the following eulogy:

‘May you rest in peace, Thando. Words cannot fully express the pain we, as the class of 2019 are feeling. Our very own amiable, caring, considerate and humorous friend, Thando Xolile Mahlambi has passed away.

She was known for being a bubbly person and a free spirit. In all activities, she excelled in showcasing her fashion sense, always a lady.

We knew her as a firm believer in Christ with an angelic voice. Her kindness and contagious laugh touched us all as her close friends.

Thando, we are faced with a situation we never expected. You left this world far too early. You had so much more to give and at 20 years old, you gave the world everything you had.

We have lost your contagious laugh, your loving smile and quirkiness that can never be replaced.
Thando, we love and we miss you. Until we meet again.’

Volkies sends its deepest condolences to her family.
