The Estcourt Methodist Church hall was alive with applause and cheers on Saturday.

The Grade R learners at Rose of Sharon Daycare & Crèche put on a show for their parents and educators at their concert and graduation ceremony.
With various entertainment items on the programme, the learners delighted the audience with dances and songs.
Guest speaker Mrs Njape thanked the educators and principal Mrs Mbanjwa for the special care taken to develop the young children.
She admitted that her son, Ndomiso, was a difficult child, prone to vomiting and not eating, but after a short period of time, he improved dramatically.
“Thank you to Karishma; she is my son’s class teacher. She has been so patient and so caring with our children,” said Mrs Njape.
The day’s event concluded with the graduation, much to the delight of the parents, who were thrilled to see their children dressed in their finest.
