Two people have been killed in a drive-by shooting this afternoon (November 21) in Fairclough Road, Egerton area.
Police, forensics and other emergency officials were on scene.
Residents in their homes described hearing heavy gunfire echoing through the streets.

It is alleged that the shooting is taxi-related.
