Dayspring Preschool in Ntabamhlophe was given a fresh look on November 9 when a work party comprising members and friends of Midlands Christian Centre (MCC) stepped in to help with repairs and maintenance of the school buildings and play area.

There was an air of excitement as people worked together, with music in the background to help boost morale. The camaraderie was evident in the smiling faces and laughter.
Workers turned up in force, equipped with tools, brooms, buckets, paint and brushes; saws, ropes, scrubbing brushes and a welding plant.
Surfaces were painted, walls and windows washed, floors scrubbed, trees pruned and play areas restored with new equipment.
Dayspring is an outreach ministry of MCC and the community was excited to see the preschool looking so revitalised. The school follows the same Early Childhood Development Syllabus (Step-by-Step) developed and followed by
Fountain of Life Preschool in Wembezi, another outreach ministry of MCC. The syllabus allows each and every learner the opportunity to build a foundation in their childhood that will help them achieve a brighter and more secure future.
