Inkamana reflects on a year of glorious singing
Vryheiders can look forward to a beautiful Christmas concert, performed by a choir of more than 70 voices.
Inkamana High School has come to the end of another year of developing students into happy, successful people, who will not only become their own best, but also add value to the world around them.
The leadership for next year consists of Sphesihle Dlamini (head girl) Anele Mnyango (head boy), Andiswa Zwane (deputy head girl), Sisanda Zulu (deputy head boy), Ziyanda Mdletshe,
Sithabile Nkosi, Maka Ndaba, Kwazi Nsele, Manqoba Hlubi and Sanele Mpontshane.
The Dux for 2019 is Wanele Mthetwa.
“We wish the matriculants all the best for their final results.”
During the year, Inkamana had the privilege of hosting the Northern KwaZulu-Natal (NKZN) Youth Choir in the abbey and tonight (Thursday) the Drakensberg Boys Choir will be performing its Noël Concert in the abbey. This is the fourth time since 2010 IHS will host the Drakies.
“What a wonderful opportunity for the boys to sing in the abbey and for Vryheid to listen to this well known choir on its doorstep.”
The choir will be under the musical direction of of Bernard Kruger.
Vryheiders can look forward to a beautiful Christmas concert, performed by a choir of more than 70 voices and enhanced by the wonderful acoustics of the Inkamana Abbey.
Profit from the concert will be shared by the Drakies and the IHS Marimba Band.
