Treverton announces 2019’s top matric achievers

A breakdown of the results:

• 54 candidates achieved a 100 percent pass rate
• 47 candidates achieved a Bachelor Degree pass with 87 percent
• 6 candidates (11.1 percent) achieved a Diploma pass
• 1 candidate (1.9 percent) achieved a Higher Certificate pass
• 60 subject distinctions

Racheal Steenkamp achieved 96 percent for Business Studies; and 96 percent for Afrikaans – both in the top 1 percent of the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) candidates nationwide. She also had three other subject distinctions.

The subject averages above the IEB National Averages: Business Studies; History; IsiZulu; Life Sciences and Physical Sciences.

The school wished to acknowledge with gratitude the dedicated efforts of all their teachers.
