Biker dies in head-on smash
The road has been partially closed and motorists are urged to be vigilant
A motorcyclist died in a head on collision on the Dundee/Nquthu road this afternoon, Saturday, January 11.
SAPS who are on the scene, about three kilometres past the Research Station, said the motorbike had attempted to pass a vehicle and in doing so slammed into an oncoming car.
Several occupants of the car were reported to have been injured – some seriously, SAPS said. Paramedics are also in attendance
The victim was said to have been from the Nquthu area.
