Mahendra Shamaparsadh claimed yet another coveted award in the music industry at the end of December 2019.

In March last year, he became the first person in Northern KwaZulu-Natal to receive three back-to-back Artes Awards. This is indeed a great feat!
Speaking to Mahendra, he says he loves to entertain audiences and have everyone singing along and tapping their feet to the beat of the music.
He is justifiably proud of his achievements so far, and says he will continue singing and playing musical instruments until he can’t do it anymore. Mahendra is also proud to be a homegrown musician.
Well done, Mr Music Maestro Mahendra!
