A 25-year-old was arrested for burglary, during a joint operation between Magudu and Pongola SAPS recently.
A .38 Special revolver with five live rounds of ammunition was found on the suspect at the time of the arrest. Magudu SAPS also recovered 64 rounds of ammunition in a bag.
The arrest then led to the recovery of stolen property.
The suspect made a first appearance in the Pongola Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
