Cool weather draws a crowd at weekly parkrun

This past Saturday (January 25), excited members of the local community and guests from as far as Secunda, Harrismith and Pietermaritzburg, took part in a five kilometre parkrun at Grey Goose Game Lodge.

Participants enjoyed the cool weather and beautiful surroundings, while having the opportunity to socialise with fellow parkrunners alike.

Parkrun officials welcomed the crowd with great enthusiasm and wished everyone well. They further encouraged residents to become involved with the weekly event, calling it a great way to stay on top of one’s health and meet fellow community members.

Once runners crossed the finish line, friendly staff of Grey Goose welcomed everyone for a warm cup of coffee and breakfast.
