One person lost their life in a drive-by shooting in the Kwamandeni area late last night (February 1).
The deceased is believed to be a nephew of Mayor Vincent Madlala.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle, killing the driver.

It is alleged that the mayor’s nephew was dropping off his driver when the shooting occurred.
The vehicle was riddled with bullets.
