Harvesting the fruits of their labour

Learners picked an array of vegetables that they helped plant

Learners at Jack & Jill had an exceptionally educational day as they gathered ‘crops of success’, which were planted on Arbor Day.

Many of the new learners were amazed at how vegetables can be planted and plucked from a garden, because their parents always purchase them at supermarkets.

Learners gather brinjals from the school garden.

Various vegetables such as gem squash, spinach, tomatoes, green peppers and brinjals were harvested.

A special potjie will be prepared for the staff and learners.
