The truck that rolled down an embankment near Tweedie.

Paramedics were summoned to a truck crash on the N3 near Tweedie yesterday (February 10).

On arrival at the scene, they found that a truck had rolled down an embankment.

Investigations on scene have ascertained that the driver lost control of the truck, causing it to veer off the road and roll down the embankment.

“The patient, an adult male, sustained minor injuries however declined ambulance transportation to hospital,” said Netcare Limited Media Liaison Officer Shawn Herbst.

The incident was reported at 4.24am.
