Video: Michael ‘Beez’ Naicker laid to rest in Ladysmith with convoy of revving vehicles
The drivers revved their engines as a final goodbye to a friend who was a well-known car enthusiast
Michael ‘Beez’ Naicker was laid to rest earlier today (February 12).
A large number of family members and friends gathered at his home in Poppy Crescent to pay their last respects.
Thereafter, a funeral procession of vehicles driven by his friends escorted the hearse to the local crematorium.
Engines revved and tyres squealed as the vehicles left the home.

The drivers again revved their engines in unison at the crematorium as a final goodbye to a friend who was a well-known car enthusiast in Ladysmith.
What a fitting send-off to a man who had a passion for automobiles and a reputation as a “master mechanic” who could fix just about any problem with a car’s engine.
