A few days ago, Ward Councillor, Magda Viktor warned residents not to allow strangers into their homes if they did not produce verified identification.
The meter reading team which is currently doing the rounds at residential homes, has been issued with the relevant identification tags.
According to officials, the team will soon be issued with new ID cards and uniforms.
