[WATCH] A look at Amajuba’s Covid-19 mobile testing station

A Covid-19 mobile testing station will be used to test residents identified as possible coronavirus cases during the door-to-door screenings program.

Watch below as acting Health Director for the Amajuba District, Mthokozisi Khumalo, walks the Newcastle Advertiser through the steps that are taken when members of the public are tested for Covid-19 in the Department’s mobile testing station.

The National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) handed the brand new testing station over to the Amajuba District Department of Health on April 20, to enable health workers to carry out tests in the areas where people have been identified as possible cases during the door-to-door screenings.
