Districts embark on mass screening

This initiative was launched to educate motorist and commuters about the coronavirus.

The three districts in northern KwaZulu-Natal; Amajuba, Zululand and Umzinyathi, decided to embark on a mass screening and testing drive on May 13, at the Blood River intersection, which links the three districts.

The aim was to educate motorists and commuters about the coronavirus.

The screening and testing was led by the Amajuba District Speaker, Phumzile Mgcina, with Emadlangeni Municipal Mayor, Lindile Mhlungu.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) and Department of Health also formed part of this initiative.
