Cattle ‘take over’ school fields

The cows can be seen almost daily peacefully grazing on the school fields

School is out while the country is in a National Lockdown and the cattle are taking advantage of the lull.

Residents on Browning Street said cows are herded onto the fields at Dundee Secondary  daily to spend the day grazing.

Access to the fields is through a broken down fence facing the Dundee/Vryheid road.

A herdsman was seen tending to the cattle but at this stage it is not clear who owns the cattle.
