Youth ambassadors visited a home in Wembezi to provide food for a blind old woman who lives with her grandchildren

Unyaka Wakho Youth Foundation, Advocates for Change continues to provide food parcels to those in need during this time of Covid-19 lockdown.

Unyaka Wakho youth ambassadors visited a home in Wembezi on May 14 to provide food for a blind old woman who lives with her grandchildren.

Acknowledgment goes to the sponsor, Debbie Arde, and youth ambassadors Namutula Mukelabai and Nokulunga Mngadi for availing themselves to be of service to the community.

Namutula Mukelabai and Nokulunga Mngadi get ready to distribute the supplies.

Nokulunga explains: “I received a text from a concerned community member seeking help for an elderly blind lady, so I forwarded it to Unyaka Wakho Youth Foundation founder Mrs Gamede for possible assistance. In no time, provisions were made.”

The food parcels were warmly welcomed by the family.
