Freezing temperatures produced winter wonderland

And the rest of the week will be cold too...

Freezing cold temperatures have been measured in the area since a cold front swept through the district.

The mercury fell to minus 5 this morning in Tayside while a Dundee resident said he had recorded a minimum of 4 below freezing shortly after 6am.

And the wintry days are set to continue as the Dundee area looks set for one of its coldest winter seasons for some years
