MEC brings assistance to needy learners, senior citizens

Senior citizens and learners were given assistance when Umzinyathi District Champion, MEC Hlengiwe Mavimbela accompanied by Al-Imdaad Foundation visited Morningside Primary School on the Helpmekaar road.

Fifty masks to Grade 7 sanitary packs, sanitizers pupils.

The MEC also handed over 75 walking sticks, blankets and sanitizers to senior citizens from the Kwa Nkosi Sithole in the Stratford farm area.
MEC Mavimbela thanked Abed Karrim from the Al-Imdaad foundation for their generous contribution.

“Through this donation, senior citizens will be warm during winter, especially during this time of Covid-19,” said MEC Mavimbela.
