The boomerang bakkie strikes again

Thieves keep on picking on Maritz's beloved 1400

Maritz van Huysteen’s Nissan bakkie is like a boomerang! His beloved vehicle was stolen for the second time in six months, only to be recovered by the SAPS.
This second time, however, the bakkie was recovered the day after it was stolen from his Dundee home – unlike the first time, when the bakkie was recovered four months after it was stolen from the Dundee Boulevard Centre (ironically by his daughter, Naomi, who is a police officer with Dundee SAPS).

Read all about Maritz’s ‘miracle bakkie’ in this week’s Courier – out on Thursdays.
