Five people when injured when two vehicles collided near Kwabanya on the R69 earlier this morning.
Emergency services dispatched from Vryheid also found that one of the vehicles went over the bridge, landing upside down. Firefighters had to extract the driver from the vehicle.
Paramedics reported that the injuries sustained by the occupants of both vehicles ranged from mild to serious. All patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
