Power supply challenges leads to water interruptions in Dannhauser

In the interim, affected communities are supplied with water through water tankers.

Water has been interrupted in the Dannhauser area, due to power supply challenges at the pump stations, stated the Amajuba District Municipality.

“This serves to inform the community about water reticulation supply interruptions in Buffalo flats in Dannhauser Local Municipality in the following wards: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13,” it said in a statement.

Sbonelo Cebekhulu, Communications Head at the Amajuba District Municipality said the municipality is in contact with Eskom in trying to restore electricity.

“Power has not been restored yet. Affected communities are supplied with water through water tankers in the meantime.”
