Was a pet snake left to die?

Henry was upset that the snake had died

Local snake catcher Henry Bugden was saddened to come across a huge and very dead 2,5 metre red tail boa constrictor.

The snake was discovered last week by a motor cross biker near MacPhail Drive in Craigieburn who alerted Henry.

“These snakes are not indigenous to South Africa but are popular pets. I believe someone kept the snake as a pet and it died and was left out in the veld, “ said Henry.

He said the snakes, which are common in tropical in central and south America.
