Blood donations on the move with SANBS mobile clinics

Mobile clinics will be open from 10am to 4pm on the specified dates.

SANBS has announced its mobile blood clinic schedule for August, and appeals to residents to continue giving the gift of life.

Teams will be operating across Northern KwaZulu-Natal throughout the month. Donor Relations Practitioner, Shavani Sewpaul explained mobile clinics at the malls would run from 10am to 4pm.

SANBS will be mobile in these locations and on these dates:

August 6: Eyethu Junction (Madadeni)

August 8: Theku Plaza

August 13: Eyethu Junction

August 18: Village Walk

August 19: Scott Street Mall and Theku Plaza

August 20: Eyethu Junction

August 25: Village Walk

August 26: Scott Street Mall

August 29: Theku Plaza

“Our donor centre [situated at Newcastle Mall] is open on the public holiday (August 10) from 9am to 2pm. There will be gifts for donors on that day,” concluded Sewpaul.

For more information, contact the Newcastle Donor Centre on 034 326 1127 or visit the branch. All safety precautions are in place including sanitising and enforcement of social distancing measures.
