SANBS honours women with public holiday blood drive
"We honour these women who contribute towards making our country a better place."
In celebration of National Women’s Day this Sunday, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is hosting a special blood drive at its donor centre on August 10 (Monday).
The drive is open from 9am to 2pm, and donors who give blood on the day will receive a token of appreciation.
A promotional image sent by SANBS Donor Relations Practitioner, Shavani Sewpaul, lauds women who display perseverance in all areas of their lives despite facing adversity.
“We honour these women who contribute towards making our country a better place.”
