The Dundee-Pomeroy road is still closed this morning at Stratford Farm (Sithole area) after protesters dragged burning tyres and other obstacles on to the road.

The protest action started late last night, SAPS said, with stones being thrown at cars.

SAPS are monitoring the situation but motorists are advised to avoid the area. It is understood that the  protest action is against the lack of water in the area.
