ESTCOURT: LEAN project bears fruit for church and communities
The TAMCC visited the Driefontein area to offer people support in the form of food vouchers
Submitted by Reverend Sonto Thusi (TAMCC director)
Once again, it is a great pleasure to report the work that the churches and church organisations continue doing during these trying times of Covid-19.
On August 29, the uThukela Amajuba Mzinyathi Christian Council (TAMCC) – working with the Methodist Church of Southern Africa through the Local Ecumenical Action Network (LEAN) – visited the Driefontein area under Alfred Duma Local Municipality to offer people support in the form of food vouchers.
Many people benefited from this project.

Among those who were present was TAMCC chairperson Reverend Nomvuyo Mpuqa, and we were also honoured by the presence of Inkosi Khumalo wesizwe samaNtungwa.
Once more, on behalf of the TAMCC, I wish to take this opportunity to thank the following stakeholders: Methodist Church, traditional leadership, media, TAMCC Exco, members and friends, as well as everyone who is making it possible for us to continue serving God’s people.
