ESTCOURT: Wagendrift maintains ‘considerably good’ dam level
At 92.3% full, Wagendrift is one of four dams in the province that has shown a steady increase in its water level
The Department of Water & Sanitation in KwaZulu-Natal has expressed concern over the continued decline of dam levels, even after the sporadic rains in some of parts of the province in the past week.

However, with this scenario in mind, Wagendrift Dam has recorded “considerably good levels”.

At 92.3% full, Wagendrift is one of four dams in the province that has shown a steady increase in its water level.
Departmental spokesperson Sputnik Ratau said that when compared to a similar period last year, the province’s dam storage capacity was also below average at 57.8%.
