Thieves broke into a bottle store in the CBD last night, making off with a large quantity of top-shelf whisky’s.

Police responded to reports of a break-in and found thieves had entered the bottle store from a rear entrance.

It was noted that the robbers only targeted expensive bottles of booze.

No arrests were made and we are awaiting an update from the police as to the value of the whisky stolen.
