DUNDEE: SAPS appeal for public’s help following murder and kidnapping

She was confronted by four men dressed in camouflage and wearing balaclavas.

SAPs have appealed to the public to assist them in apprehending the four men involved in the murder and kidnapping of a 56-year-old woman whose body was found in the Wasbank area on Friday evening.

SAP said they had received information that the woman was at her home in Tholeni when she was confronted by four men dressed in camouflage and wearing balaclavas.

They appeared to be looking for her son who was not at home. The men then handcuffed the woman and put her into a silver Toyota Tazz which was without number plates.

The men told neighbours that they would leave her at Ekuvukeni police station. But this never happened. Her body was later found near a gravel farm at Ntsepe game farm in the Wasbank area.

She had been shot in the head. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt Langa at the Wasbank Police Station or Warrant Officer Bezuidenhout on 079 696 3545 or the nearest police station.
