Ladysmith KZN: Mountain bike fun race at Platrand

Ride like the wind, out in nature...

The Ladysmith Siegetown Wheelers cycling club hosted their first MTB pilot event at Platrand on Saturday (December 5).

There were three events that offered something for everyone: a fun-filled 5km, an adventurous 20km, and the mighty 40km with some beautiful scenery and technical challenges.

Everyone who rode raved about the amazing routes designed by Theo Blok and his team.

A few cyclists were fortunate enough to pedal past a herd of giraffe.

The Wheelers would like to thank all who attended and all who helped.

The club is looking forward to hosting many more amazing family events at Platrand Lodge, with Jabu Campher and his family.
